About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a talented and ideas-driven Graphic Designer to join a prestigious luxury lifestyle management company in Johannesburg or Cape Town. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative professional with a refined design aesthetic and a passion for producing elegant, high-quality work across both print and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Creative Development

• Develop strong conceptual design solutions from initial brief through to execution

• Create and refine brand identities, ensuring consistency across all platforms

• Contribute to brand development, roll-out, and visual identity refinement

• Produce high-quality design work across print and digital mediums

• Design for social media, digital platforms, and basic front-end applications

• Assist with light video editing for digital and social media use

  • Project Management & Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with internal teams while also managing projects independently

• Interpret briefs effectively and present creative concepts with confidence

• Ensure all projects are delivered on time and to a high standard

• Maintain strong attention to detail throughout all stages of design and production

• Report directly to senior leadership and contribute to creative direction

  • Content & Brand Support

• Design marketing materials including newsletters, brochures, and social media content

• Support the creation of visually engaging content for luxury travel portfolios

• Ensure all output aligns with the premium positioning of the brand

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design (B.A. or B.F.A.) from a recognised institution
  • 7–10 years’ experience within reputable design studios
  • Strong portfolio showcasing branding, design, and conceptual thinking
  • Advanced understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
  • High level of technical skill combined with a conceptual approach to design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Experience with basic video editing for social media
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take direction and collaborate effectively within a team
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely when required
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
