About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to cover the Northern Cape region and Lesotho, driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships across these regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of sales and specification skills, with a focus on government tenders and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise sales opportunities in the area through effective sales visibility and market share growth
  • Build and maintain good customer relationships across internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain positive working relationships with key industry players, including architects, contractors, QSs, hardware stores, and government agencies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including tender bids and projects
  • Travel throughout the Northern Cape and Lesotho to check in on current customers and call on new prospects
  • Provide Employee Car Allowance Scheme (ECAS) benefits to clients, ensuring car finance arrangements meet company requirements

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) with a relevant tertiary qualification in sales and/or building-related field (advantageous)
  • Proven sales record of at least 3 years, ideally in the building industry
  • Drivers license with a car pre-approval
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Good writing skills
  • Proficiency in English and Afrikaans
