About the Role

The Junior Property Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of low- to mid‑income properties, ensuring seamless letting activities, and maintaining strong tenant relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage leases and coordinate letting activities for low- to mid‑income tenants
  • Oversee deposit collection, handling, and compliance
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure maintenance issues are resolved timeously
  • Build strong tenant relationships and address queries professionally
  • Assist with rental arrears tracking and follow-ups
  • Support reporting, admin, and portfolio record keeping

Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 (minimum requirement)
  • Tertiary qualification in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field (advantageous but not always essential)

Qualifications

  • Valid drivers licence and reliable transport
