About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Junior Manager with expertise in the meat trading industry to join our team in Queenstown. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, customer service, and staff management, with a proven track record of success in a wholesale or retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the wholesale department
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve sales targets
- Oversee scheduling and staff supervision
- Maintain accurate records using ERP or point-of-sale/stock management systems
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients
Requirements
- 23 years experience in wholesale or retail environment, preferably meat/food/FMCG
- Proven sales or customer-facing experience
- At least 12 years in a senior, supervisory or team leader role
- Exposure to scheduling or overseeing staff is essential
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience on an ERP or point-of-sale/stock management system will be an advantage
