About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Quality Checker to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting on all quality inspections
- Conduct visual inspection
- Report and record non-confirming products
- Monitor and manage quarantine area
- Conduct random sampling in accordance with set requirements
- Reporting quality incidents and non-conformances
- Conduct process checks and advise of any defects
- Participate in quality-related activities as may be assigned from time to time
- Ensures compliance with Safety and standard work procedures
- Report any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment immediately to the Team Leader/Supervisor
- Perform any reasonable activities/duties as may be required
Requirements
- Matric
- At least one-year relevant quality control experience, preferably in the automotive industry
