About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Co-Ordinator to join our Business Intelligence Department in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating media campaigns, managing project administration, maintaining business intelligence systems and data, and ensuring effective communication between stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate media campaigns from initiation through to completion.
  • Work closely with Business Intelligence team members to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for media-related queries via email and telephone.
  • Communicate campaign requirements and timelines to Operations and Merchandising teams.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Escalate and resolve project issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • 12 years’ experience in project coordination, administration, analytics, or a related environment.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using databases, reporting tools, and web-based applications.

About the Role

Our client, a leader in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Project Co-Ordinator to join their team based in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects within the Automotive sector and ensuring smooth launch of new projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project plan and take responsibility for overall project control
  • Manage and develop company project master schedules for new projects
  • Responsible for cost calculation of new projects, establish feasibility study and make recommendation to MD
  • Engage with customers regarding new business opportunities, understanding requirements, assessing feasibility, and providing recommendation to MD
  • Acts as primary interface with customers for all Pre-production requests and others
  • Sets QCD targets for each stage of the project, evaluates results, ensuring projects meet QCD objectives
  • Lead OBEYA meetings and manage cross-functional team to monitor milestones
  • Track and evaluate Project progress with all relevant departments
  • Monitor drawing and design changes ECI’s, distribute to the relevant departments, ensuring smooth transition
  • Establish link with HQ and other subsidiaries to receive support and obtain best practices and deploy to TGSA
  • Conduct project close-out reporting, make recommendations for the future
  • Oversee ad-hoc project and drive the projects from planning till implementation

Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and/or relevant qualification
  • Min 5 years’ work experience in managing projects within the Automotive sector
  • OEM Min 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing environment
  • MS Office, with Intermediate excel skills
