About the Role

We are seeking a Process Analyst to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our finance operations, you will play a crucial role in identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements that drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the analysis of current finance processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in mapping end-to-end processes using tools such as Visio, Miro, or similar platforms
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation, including SOPs and controlled process libraries
  • Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analysing data to support process insights and decision-making
  • Help prepare reporting packs, presentations, and KPI dashboards
  • Coordinate with finance teams to schedule workshops, testing sessions, and feedback discussions
  • Assist in preparing training materials, user guides, and change communication documentation
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process simplification
  • Support the adoption of new systems, tools, and process methodologies

Requirements

Basic understanding of finance or business processes

Data analysis skills (Excel/Sheets essential; Power BI a plus)

Experience with process mapping tools or workflow diagrams

Qualifications

A degree in Finance or a related field

Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles would be advantageous

An Engineering degree or Masters is also considered, provided the candidate has relevant experience within a finance environment.
