About the Role
A Sales Manager position has become available at a leading internationally branded hotel group in Cape Town, where you will drive revenue growth across MICE, leisure & corporate segments. As the key sales leader, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, achieving sales targets, and creating sales strategies to maximise revenue and market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source, develop, and maintain relationships with key accounts in all three segments (MICE, leisure, and corporate)
- Achieve sales targets through effective account management, networking, and prospecting
- Create and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and market share
- Conduct site inspections, sales calls, client entertainment, and attend trade shows
- Collaborate with the operations and events teams to ensure seamless client experiences
- Prepare reports, forecasts, and market analysis as required
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in hotel sales, with proven success in MICE, leisure, and corporate segments
- Experienced with international hotel brands
- Strong network of contacts in the local and international market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Goal-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible with working hours and travel as required
