About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our client’s team in Somerset West. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, general ledger management, and tax compliance, while contributing to cost management, financial analysis, and decision-making across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting and prepare management reports
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes
- Provide audit support and contribute to cost management
- Analyze financial data to inform business decisions
- Prepare and review financial statements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of relevant financial accounting experience
- Strong financial reporting, general ledger, and tax compliance experience
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in other accounting systems
- Professional accounting qualification (advantageous)
