About the Role
As an Intergrations Engineer in our Cape Town City Centre team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our systems communicate effectively and reliably. You will work on real-time data ingestion, backend processing pipelines, and system-to-system integrations where reliability matters. Key Responsibilities
- Work on real-time data ingestion
- Develop backend processing pipelines
- Implement system-to-system integrations
- Ensure reliability in TCP connections, APIs, message queues, and data handling
Requirements
- Experience in backend development or systems integration working with live, production systems
- Proficiency in building services using C#/.NET
- Understanding of databases to identify query issues
- Familiarity with real-time data behavior compared to batch jobs and reports
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent hands-on experience in software engineering or systems integration
