About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Despatch Clerk to join our team in Cape Town, responsible for ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of goods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily dispatch and ensure on-time deliveries
- Oversee labeling, quality checks, and POD documentation
- Coordinate delivery schedules and dispatch processes
- Ensure safe loading and proper product handling
- Monitor vehicles, forklifts, and dispatch equipment
- Maintain accurate stock control and bin transfers
- Uphold housekeeping, safety, and compliance standards
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with route planning and fleet coordination
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant qualification in Operations / Warehousing / Inventory / Procurement
- 23 years experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment
- Strong understanding of dispatch and distribution processes
- Experience in B2B / FMCG environment
- Computer literate: MS Office & ERP systems (MFG Pro advantageous)
