About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our luxurious oceanfront hotel’s refined dining operation. As a hands-on hospitality professional, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day restaurant operation and ensuring exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the full day-to-day restaurant operation
- Leading, training and developing a high-performing service team
- Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in driving profitability
- Stock control, monthly stocktaking & tight F&B security management
- Assisting with ordering of F&B supplies, cleaning supplies & uniforms
- Monitoring guest satisfaction and resolving complaints proactively
- Engaging personally with regular and VIP guests
- Planning, organising and prioritising operational goals
- Ensuring leave and absenteeism is accurately reported
Requirements
- 2–3 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel restaurant or similar luxury environment
- Relevant hospitality qualification
- Strong financial understanding & excellent numeracy skills
- Good wine knowledge
- Solid POS knowledge (Micros advantageous)
- Confident leader who can step into any operational role if required
- Highly organised and calm under pressure
- Energetic, enthusiastic and genuinely guest-focused
