About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, specifically in the business-to-business (B2B) industry, with experience in both B2C and B2B marketing. This role requires a dynamic individual who can work effectively across multiple time zones, including European hours, to deliver marketing activities for various product solutions across digital channels and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage own marketing strategy and content calendar across the marketing funnel for 2-3 business areas
  • Execute marketing campaigns targeting USA and Asia, potentially expanding to Europe, Latin America, Australia, and Africa
  • Distil messaging and define positioning through research and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business development teams to create campaigns supporting sales priorities
  • Define campaign scopes, budgets, and timelines to maximize engagement opportunities
  • Write content pieces such as blogs, articles, FAQs and promotional materials such as emails, social media posts and ads
  • Manage marketing material creation from inception to finalisation, including proofreading, creative and digital management and shipping
  • Support social media activities, including content creation and curation
  • Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns across various digital channels (e.g. Google Ads, Social Media, SEO)
  • Report on campaign KPIs and provide optimization recommendations based on analytics (A/B testing, targeting etc.)
  • Work with in-house teams and the development team to maintain the relevant websites and web content

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications and/or other relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in business-to-business (B2B) and business process outsourcing (BPO) industry, eLearning, Business Services etc.
  • Experience in marketing to audiences based in the USA at least one more other target geography of Australia, Europe, Ireland, South Africa, the Philippines, and UK
  • Strong copywriting skills to create blogs, emails, web pages, display ads, social posts etc.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with CRMs such as Salesforce and Pardot
  • Knowledge of best practices in digital marketing techniques (Display Advertising, Email Marketing, Google Analytics, Marketing Optimisation, PPC, PR, SEO and Social Media ads)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM, Pardot, Smartsheet, Google Analytics, Google Ads, MODX or WP Engine and Hootsuit
