About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Relief F&I professional to join our team in George, South Africa. As a key member of our finance and insurance department, you will be responsible for structuring vehicle finance deals, submitting applications to banks and financial institutions, and negotiating approval terms. You will also be expected to explain finance and insurance products clearly to customers, sell value-added products, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Structuring vehicle finance deals in line with customer affordability and lending criteria
- Submitting finance applications to banks and financial institutions and negotiating the best possible approval terms
- Explaining finance and insurance products clearly and professionally to customers
- Selling value-added products such as warranties, service plans, maintenance plans, and short-term insurance
- Ensuring full compliance with NCA, FAIS, and dealership policies and procedures
- Completing and managing all F&I documentation accurately and within required turnaround times
- Conducting needs analysis and affordability assessments
- Managing insurance proposals, cover notes, and policy documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all deal files are audit-ready
- Liaising with sales teams, banks, insurers, and external stakeholders
- Handling contract payouts, settlements, and follow-ups with financial institutions
Requirements
- Previous experience as an F&I at a motor dealership (non-negotiable)
- Valid NCA and RE5 accreditation, with all other required F&I credentials
- Completed Grade 12
- Valid drivers licence
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
