About the Role

Mzansi GS, a leading renewable energy services company based in Midrand and Pretoria, is seeking a qualified electrician to join our growing team. We are looking for an experienced electrician with a strong working knowledge of electrical systems to undertake various electrical tasks efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installation component of domestic and commercial solar installations according to regulations and standards
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with national electrical regulations and standards
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and make necessary repairs
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
Install new electrical systems and equipment as needed
Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client specifications

Requirements

Valid electrical trade test
Valid wireman’s license with experience in single-phase and three-phase electrical work
Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of practical experience in the electrical installation industry
