Job Description

Job Title: Junior Accountant – Mining

Location: Northern Cape

Hire Resolve’s Client are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their mining company in the Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and processes, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
– Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
– Support the finance team in daily accounting tasks
– Handle accounts payable and receivable activities
– Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
– Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
– Assist with external audits as necessary
– Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to the finance team

Requirements:
– BCom degree with preferable completed articles at a reputable auditing firm – plus 6 to 8 years of experience
