Job Description

About the Role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department are carried out according to the standards of Craven Cottage CC and as specified by senior management. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and support the housekeeping team, while maintaining high levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in all areas.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department are carried out according to the standards of Craven Cottage CC and as specified by senior management
Perform regular inspections of laundry, public areas, and lodges
Manage, support and assist housekeeping personnel as required
Brief all housekeeping personnel on their daily duties
Lead by example with appearance and personal hygiene
Ensure that the cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation of rooms and public areas are maintained
Report any repair and maintenance problems that need attention
Maintain a positive attitude and a courteous and professional demeanour at all times
Anticipate and respond to all guest needs quickly, efficiently and courteously
Resolve any guest complaints promptly
Carry out monthly stock takes

Requirements

Grade 12
A formal hospitality qualification
Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a large Hotel/Resort (4+ years)
Ability to coordinate and lead the housekeeping team
Ability to motivate team members
Attention to detail
Be alert and innovative
Good computer and administration skills
Ability to cope under pressure
Written and verbal communication skills
