Job Description
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The IT Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Shared Services Centre by managing day-to-day office activities, coordinating both administrative and IT-related tasks, and maintaining effective communication across teams. This role oversees general office operations while supporting essential functions such as handling incoming and outgoing emails, phone calls, and mail, as well as coordinating meetings. The successful candidate will be a professional who facilitates key tasks, manages office communications, and confidently multitasks while juggling multiple responsibilities at once.
Requirements:
Matric
A minimum of 3 years of experience required as an office coordinator, project coordinator or any similar role
Experience working in a highly fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva
Duties:
Organize and coordinate office operations and procedures
Organize office events
Monitoring and ordering inventory and stationery for office
Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
Organizing records and other important documentation
Bruni Foundation reconciliation and event coordination
Ordering repairs for office equipment, maintenance, groceries
Connecting with vendors
Health and Safety
Assist with SSC IT activities
Pluralsight lucky draws
Photos, certifications, newsletters
Ordering of reward goodies
Organizing team activities
Assist PMO team with project task coordination
PMO FreshService support tickets
Attend office and PMO related meetings
Create PowerPoint presentations as required
Any additional duties or responsibilities as reasonably assigned, in support of operational needs
