About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, including journal entries and monthly reconciliations
- Prepare and review management accounts, financial schedules, and reports
- Handle VAT, PAYE, and corporate income tax submissions in line with legislation
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements including BBBEE, FICA, and Department of Labour submissions
- Conduct tax reconciliations and identify risks or discrepancies
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in an accounting and taxation role
- Proven exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax compliance
- Experience working with audits and statutory requirements is advantageous
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Experience working on accounting systems
- Solid understanding of VAT, PAYE, and corporate income tax
- Good knowledge of IFRS/GAAP standards
