About the Role
Safari JOBS is recruiting on behalf of an exceptional, five-star safari lodge environment where passion, pride, and consistency are non-negotiable. We seek an individual who is highly detail-orientated, naturally guest-focused, and genuinely enjoys guest interaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspire, stimulate and lead the Front of House team
* Maintain the Pan FOH system; Day Sheets / Rooming List / Arrival Report
* Reception, Curio Shop and Switch Board; Banking, Invoices and Gratuities
* Guest meet and greet
* Site Inspections
* Guest Feedback Centricity
* Inspire, stimulate and lead the Housekeeping team
* Maintain the Housekeeping standards
* Spot check of rooms & turndowns
* Staff Uniform Control
* Inspire, stimulate and lead the maintenance team
* Control and supervise the maintenance team
* Work closely with the Reserve Maintenance Manager
* Preventative maintenance service schedules
* Staff Accommodation
* Understanding of building, refrigeration, electricity, air conditioners, gardening, pool care, firefighting equipment & vehicles
* Pest Control
Requirements
- Strong leadership & mentoring skills – Listen, Inspire and Empower the team to perform their duties to the best of their ability and according to company standards; Make the team feel valued in order for them to assist you to drive the departments and lodge;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (listening skills, verbal communication etc);
- Positive attitude, Self-motivated, Confident;
- Sense of humour and adventure.

- Hospitality management qualification
Salary & Benefits
- CTC remuneration of approx. R38 R40, 000.00 PM NEG.
- Provident Fund, Group Life & Disability, Dreaded Disease Cover
- Staff bed nights
- Accommodation provided private with own bathroom etc.
- Uniform and laundry thereof
- Meals provided, on duty
Working Conditions
- Work Cycle: 21 days on, 7 days off plus 15 leave days per annum. **Applicable after three months of successful employment.**
- Unfortunately; this position is not suitable for children or pets due to reserve regulations.
- Applications are open to South African citizens only.
- A clear criminal record is required all potential staff undergo standard fingerprinting in line with anti-poaching measures, during the onsite interview process.
