About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Foreman Coordinator (Artisan) to join our team in Kempton Park, South Africa. As a Trade Tested Artisan with experience in maintenance and inventory management, you will be responsible for coordinating workshop operations and ensuring efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Running Maintenance Store
- Ordering Parts
- SYSPRO exp (ERP System)
- Equipment calibrations
- Legal Inspections
- Record Keeping
- Lean Manufacturing (advantage)
- Placing of orders for:
- Engineering Spares
- Admin of purchasing process
- Stock and Equipment management
- Manage Workshop Team
- Stock Takes
- Liaise with QA Team to ensure Food Safety
- Jobs according to Production requirements
- Waste Levels minimization
- Continuous improvement
Requirements
Trade Tested Artisan (Fitter/ Millwright)
Experience in maintenance and inventory management
Knowledge of SYSPRO exp (ERP System)
Experience with equipment calibrations
Legal inspection experience
Record keeping skills
Lean manufacturing knowledge
Advantageous experience in food safety and quality control
Qualifications
Formal education or certification in a relevant field (e.g. National Diploma or higher)
