About the Role
Kisch IP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our dynamic team in Sandton. As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supporting various HR functions through administrative activities. If you are self-motivated, passionate about serving others, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the recruitment process
- Facilitating the employee onboarding process
- Assisting with administration of employee leave, time, and attendance
- Coordinating performance appraisals and probation meetings
- Assisting with employee transfers, promotions, and general HR requests
- Facilitating the employee exit process
- Administration of provident funds, medical aid, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
- Updating and maintaining HR databases
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and event planning
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or Bachelor’s/Post Graduate degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field
- Solid computer literacy is required; good typing and administration skills are essential
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A strong sense of teamwork
- Ability to prioritise work efficiently; deadline driven
- Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations occurring as a result of workloads and/or deadlines
- Use initiative and follow through on tasks
- Good interpersonal skills
- Punctual, flexible and reliable
- Good work ethic
