About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking a dedicated SAICA Clerk to join our client’s team in the finance sector. This role provides a unique opportunity for aspiring accountants to gain hands-on experience and work towards their SAICA qualification in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and compilation of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance.
Support the tax compliance process, including the preparation and submission of tax returns.
Participate in audit procedures and review client financials.
Conduct research on accounting standards and stay updated with legislative changes.
Work closely with senior team members to gain exposure to various accounting functions.
Prepare and maintain working papers, schedules, and reports for review.

Requirements

Completed or in the process of completing a relevant degree in Accounting.
Registration with SAICA as a trainee accountant is preferred.
CTA (Certified Tax Practitioner) a must.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Afrikaans & English)
A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
