About the Role

As a Finance Business Partner at our client’s Port Elizabeth operation, you will play a critical role in shaping real business outcomes through your financial insight. You will partner with operational and commercial teams to drive performance, influence strategy, and unlock value. This is a permanent opportunity for a finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial insight and strategic guidance
  • Translate operational strategies into financial plans, KPIs, and measurable outcomes
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
  • Conduct profitability, cost, and margin analysis to drive performance improvement
  • Develop financial models and support investment decision-making
  • Strengthen financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks
  • Deliver clear and actionable reporting to support decision-making
  • Identify risks and opportunities, recommending proactive solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives

Requirements

  • BCom in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent qualification
  • Professional certification such as CIMA or CA(SA) advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial or commercial roles
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, tax, and compliance
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP beneficial
