About the Role

Distinguished Estate, Hotel & Spa is seeking a capable and service-driven Reservations Agent to join their team based at the hotel and supporting two private villa rentals within the collection. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the guest journey, ensuring a seamless experience from managing enquiries, converting bookings, and ensuring each reservation is handled with care, accuracy, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all reservation enquiries and bookings via phone, email, and online platforms
  • Manage bookings for Estate Hotel & Spa and two private villa rentals
  • Process individual, group, and conference reservations accurately
  • Capture guest details, preferences, special requests, and booking notes with care
  • Coordinate booking information with Front Office, Rooms, Sales, and Operations
  • Maintain accurate records within reservation systems
  • Communicate promotions, packages, and relevant offers to guests
  • Support a smooth guest experience through clear and timely communication

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Formal hospitality qualification
  • Previous experience in a hotel reservations or hospitality role is required
  • Experience with Protel (Property Management System) is advantageous
  • Experience using Nightsbridge or similar systems for villa or rental properties is advantageous
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

You will work closely with Revenue, Front Office, Sales and Operations to ensure bookings are seamless, well-communicated and aligned with the standards of the collection.
