Job Description

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Foreman / Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive site experience in pipework and road construction, complemented by a strong background in surveying. This role demands a team player who can excel in a high-pressure environment, maintaining high attention to detail and ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • Conduct accurate surveying to inform project planning and execution.
  • Coordinate and oversee pipework installations including sewer, water, and stormwater systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize project outcomes.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, ensuring clear communication with all parties involved.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Resolve any on-site issues promptly to minimize project delays.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in construction with a focus on pipework and road construction.
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering, with a preference for candidates with a background in surveying.
  • Proficient in field surveying techniques and equipment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple aspects of construction.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing pipework systems (sewer, water, stormwater).
