Job Description
A Chrome Mine is seeking to appoint a professional, organized, and proactive Personal Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to three managers on site. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient coordination of administrative functions and communication within the mines management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and personal assistant support to three managers on site.
- Manage diaries, meetings, and appointments for the managers.
- Prepare, format, and type reports, correspondence, and documentation.
- Maintain filing systems and records (electronic and manual).
- Coordinate internal communication between departments and management.
- Assist with meeting arrangements, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Handle general office administration and support tasks as required.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
- Mining industry experience (any mining sector) will be advantageous but is not limited to chrome mining.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent typing and document preparation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
