Humansdorp: Technician (UHT/ESL Filling)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team in Humansdorp, responsible for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our filling and downstream equipment. As a key member of our production team, you will work independently and collaboratively to achieve targets and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on filling and downstream equipment
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve production and maintenance targets
• Ensure equipment reliability and efficiency through proactive fault-finding and problem-solving
• Support operational requirements by working shifts and overtime when necessary
• Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards in a fast-paced FMCG environment

Requirements

• Qualified Millwright or Electrician (essential)
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in maintenance within FMCG or related industries
• Strong technical expertise in: Hydraulics, Electrics, Pneumatics, Mechanics, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
