About the Role
Network Finance, a well-established organization operating across multiple projects and dealing with complex third-party and regulatory environments, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager. This role plays a critical part in financial governance, reporting integrity, and strategic oversight, requiring a confident finance leader who can manage people, processes, and multiple priorities while maintaining strong technical compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the full audit process.
- Prepare annual financial statements in line with IFRS requirements.
- Oversee VAT and income tax compliance, submissions, and reconciliations.
- Manage exposure to third parties, including insurance claims and fraud-related matters.
- Handle local tenders, contracts, and compliance requirements.
- Manage and account for pension funds and loan structures.
- Ensure ongoing IFRS compliance across all reporting frameworks.
- Deliver accurate monthly reporting, management accounts, and reporting packs.
- Provide financial oversight across multiple projects with varying financial requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a finance team, ensuring performance and development.
- Report to and engage with external stakeholders at senior level.
Requirements
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification (essential).
- Approximately 8+ years’ post-qualification experience (ideally closer to 12 years’ experience).
- Industry exposure is open, with experience in financial services being advantageous.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with proven IFRS expertise.
- Demonstrated experience in management accounting, reporting packs, and financial leadership.
- Proven people management and stakeholder engagement capability.
- Ability to manage complexity, deadlines, and multiple workstreams effectively.
