About the Role

AtripleA recruitment & temps is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data, as well as providing support to the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
Provide support with budgeting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA)

• 3+ years working experience as a Financial Accountant

• MS Office Suite (Advanced level in Excel – Pivots, vlookups, xlookups etc.)

• Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems (Syspro is preferred)

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Strong administrative skills

• Good communication skills

• Good time management skills

• Friendly yet assertive personality

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Attention to detail with a flair for accuracy

• Ability to take ownership of tasks

• Experience with both IFRS and IFRS for SMEs
