About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join our team in Claremont. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in multiple conveyancing systems, and possess strong organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a significant file load (approx. 30 files for Junior and 60 for Senior)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using GhostConvey, LEXIS Convey, Stordoc, and E4 systems
- Provide administrative support to conveyancing attorneys and staff
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a conveyancing-related role for Junior candidates
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a conveyancing-related role for Senior candidates
- Proven ability to manage a significant file load
- Proficiency in GhostConvey, LEXIS Convey, Stordoc, and E4 systems (non-negotiable)
- Matric certificate (non-negotiable)
- South African citizenship
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Afrikaans and English

- A relevant legal qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
