About the Role
Fokus Personnel is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Bloemfontein. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with financial record-keeping tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support including filing, E-filing, handling incoming and outgoing mail, answering phone calls
- Assist with basic bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Assist with e-filing on behalf of clients
- Use accounting and administrative software applications as required
Requirements
- BCom Accounting or at least 5 years’ experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
