About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our 5-star hotel team in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the housekeeping department and ensuring exceptional standards throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all housekeeping operations, including rooms and public areas
- Ensure 5-star cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met
- Manage housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance
- Control stock, budgets, and housekeeping supplies
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures
- Work closely with other departments to enhance guest experience
- Utilise systems such as OPERA effectively
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or similar
- Minimum 23 years of experience in a similar role within a 5-star property
- OPERA system experience (essential)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to luxury standards
