About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Field Guide to join our team at Craven Cottage CC in Ladysmith, South Africa. As a Junior Field Guide, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and contributing to the success of our safari operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting guided safaris
- Ensuring the safety, comfort and enjoyment of guests throughout their safari experience
- Hosting guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, providing informative and engaging insights
- Facilitating guest transfers to and from safari destination when required
- Creating compelling content for social media platforms through still and video photography
- Assisting with lodge & reserve maintenance
Requirements
- FGASA Level 1 (NQF2)
- Valid First Aid
- PDP & valid driver’s licence
- DEAT
- NDT registration
- Advanced 4×4 driving course qualification would be a bonus
- Must be mature, confident, stable and an analytical thinker
- Highly presentable and well-spoken
- Guest relations skills and be confident when hosting
- Sober habits
