About the Role

Join our team as a Risk Analyst in Johannesburg, where you will partner closely with business stakeholders to analyse, monitor, and report risks in line with the risk plan. You will identify risk gaps and weaknesses, collaborate with stakeholders to develop and track remedial action plans, and drive efficiencies through improved processes, automation, and innovative risk practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present risk reports highlighting key issues, trends, and areas requiring escalation
  • Drive efficiencies through improved processes, automation, and innovative risk practices
  • Maintain oversight of risk remediation actions and ensure delivery within agreed timelines

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Risk Management or a related discipline
  • Experience: 23 years experience in the financial services or insurance industry, with exposure to risk management
  • Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Understanding of risk management, governance, and legislation; Knowledge of finance and accounting principles; Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

Degree in Risk Management or a related discipline
