About the Role
Edgexec (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Technical Delivery Lead to drive complex delivery at scale across multiple engineering teams. The successful candidate will lead with clarity, structure, and impact in a high-performance environment, ensuring predictable, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical delivery across multiple squads and workstreams
- Drive planning across releases, including scope, dependencies, risks, and capacity
- Facilitate cross-team alignment and delivery rituals
- Ensure delivery meets functional, security, and regulatory requirements
- Establish and track delivery metrics such as throughput, predictability, and quality
- Coordinate release management and deployment readiness
- Manage stakeholders and ensure clear, consistent communication
- Drive continuous improvement and engineering best practices
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in software delivery leadership or technical programme management
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and SDLC practices
- Proven ability to manage multi-team dependencies and complex delivery environments
- Experience with CI/CD, release management, and production support models
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capability
- Excellent communication skills across technical and business stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or similar
- Advantageous: experience in fintech, payments, or regulated environments
