Job Description
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for fixed-term and event staff
- Support bulk recruitment for tournament-time workforce (staff & volunteers)
- Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion targets are met
- Manage recruitment administration and candidate experience
Onboarding and Offboarding
- Facilitate onboarding programmes for all new employees and contractors.
- Ensure completion of contracts, documentation, and induction processes.
- Manage structured offboarding post-tournament, including exit interviews.
HR Operations and Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.
- Manage contracts, employee files, and compliance documentation.
- Administer leave, attendance, and HR queries.
- Support payroll inputs and benefits administration.
Workforce Planning and Deployment
- Assist in workforce planning aligned to tournament phases.
- Support deployment planning across venues and host cities.
- Coordinate staff scheduling in collaboration with functional leads.
Employee Relations and Engagement
Training and Development
Coordinate training programmes (e.g., event readiness, customer service, compliance).
Track completion of mandatory training.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
3–5 years’ HR generalist experience.
Experience in recruitment and HR administration.
Preferred Experience
Experience in large-scale events, sports, or project environments.
Exposure to multi-site or multi-country workforce coordination.
Knowledge of labour legislation in Southern Africa.
