About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Domestic Underwriter to join our dynamic team in the short-term insurance sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for underwriting personal lines policies and contributing to the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough underwriting assessments for personal lines policies
- Evaluate policy applications and make informed decisions on coverage amounts
- Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with brokers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- RE5 certification
- FAIS credits
- 3+ years experience in Domestic/Personal Lines Underwriting in a Broker environment
- Fluent in English (first language essential)
