About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Loading Supervisor to join our team at Number Two Piggeries in Queenstown. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient loading and dispatch of meat products. Key Responsibilities
- Load and dispatch meat products to customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Supervise loaders and drivers to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues to the management team
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve operational issues and improve efficiency
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- 1–2 years’ experience in loading, dispatch, warehouse or cold store operations, preferably in meat, food or FMCG
- Previous experience in a team leader or senior loader role will be an advantage
- Basic computer literacy (ability to work with picking lists, invoices and simple spreadsheets)
- Experience working in a cold chain / refrigerated environment will be an advantage
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Physically fit and able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as operationally required
