About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Agile Coach to operate at enterprise level within a highly complex, fast-paced digital environment. This role requires a seasoned Agile leader with a strong technical foundation, capable of influencing senior stakeholders, driving delivery across multiple teams, and embedding Agile best practices at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and guide multiple Agile teams within a complex, scaled environment
- Operate in a Release Train Engineer (RTE)-type capacity, coordinating across teams and stakeholders
- Drive Agile transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies at programme and enterprise level
- Improve flow efficiency and delivery throughput using Lean principles
- Engage and influence senior business and technical stakeholders
- Bridge the gap between engineering teams and business leadership
- Embed systems thinking and scalable Agile practices (SAFe)
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Agile Coach or Release Train Engineer (RTE)
- Strong background in software engineering, development, or technical environments
- Experience working in large-scale, complex organisations
- Ability to manage and coach multiple teams simultaneously
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence at senior stakeholder level
- Deep understanding of:
- SAFe frameworks
- Lean principles
- Flow efficiency and delivery metrics
Qualifications
Relevant technical degree or qualification
SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Practice Consultant preferred)
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
Project Management certification (PMI or equivalent)
Agile-related certifications
