About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking an experienced Cargo Services Manager to join our team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cargo acceptance, handling, and carriage at an international airport, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cargo acceptance, handling, and carriage at an international airport
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Dangerous Goods Cat 6, Live Animal Regulations, Perishable Training, Aviation Security, and Safety Management Training
- Supervise and coordinate team members to achieve operational goals
- Maintain accurate records and reports using the Winfreight System
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure quality control
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Cargo Acceptance | Handling and Carriage at an International Airport
- At least 2 years of experience in Management
- NQF Level 7 Qualification (highly advantageous)
- Strong Computer Proficiency and Winfreight System experience (highly advantageous)
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Own Transport required
Salary & Benefits
- Monthly CTC Package of R 32 500, negotiable based on experience
