About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our luxury lodge team, where you will be responsible for delivering refined and high-quality cuisine that enhances the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a designated kitchen section, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of refined and innovative dishes in line with the lodge’s culinary standards
- Ensure mise-en-place and section readiness ahead of each service, maintaining a seamless and efficient workflow
- Support the Senior Sous Chef and kitchen leadership team in daily operations and service execution
- Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation within the kitchen
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, tools, and machinery are used correctly and maintained to a high standard
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene regulations in line with local legislation
- Assist with stock control, food costing, and minimising wastage within the section
- Support and collaborate with other sections to ensure a cohesive and elevated dining experience for guests
- Stay informed on industry trends, techniques, and evolving culinary standards
Requirements
- Completed commercial cookery apprenticeship or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen producing upmarket or fine-dining cuisine
- Previous experience in a similar role within a 5-star lodge or hotel environment
- Valid Food Safety / HACCP certification
- Diploma or formal qualification in Culinary Arts
