About the Role
RPO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and strengthen our client’s Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance function in a fast-growing industrial manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of ISO standards, continuous improvement, and maintaining high-quality products in a high-pressure production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) across the factory
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality manuals, and manufacturing work instructions
- Manage non-conformance, CAPA processes, and root cause analysis
- Handle customer complaints, investigations, and corrective action closure
- Lead internal audits, inspections, and support external audit readiness
- Track and report on quality KPIs, risks, and improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards and support incident investigations
- Lead, coach, and develop a small Quality Assurance team
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Operations teams
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- 35 years of experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment
- Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Process Management
- Strong knowledge of SOP-driven environments and compliance systems
- Exposure to ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 (Six Sigma advantageous)
- Experience with audits, CAPA, and risk management systems
- Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong communication skills (Afrikaans advantageous due to workforce profile)
