About the Role

RPO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and strengthen our client’s Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance function in a fast-growing industrial manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of ISO standards, continuous improvement, and maintaining high-quality products in a high-pressure production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) across the factory
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality manuals, and manufacturing work instructions
  • Manage non-conformance, CAPA processes, and root cause analysis
  • Handle customer complaints, investigations, and corrective action closure
  • Lead internal audits, inspections, and support external audit readiness
  • Track and report on quality KPIs, risks, and improvement initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to HSE standards and support incident investigations
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small Quality Assurance team
  • Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Operations teams

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 35 years of experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment
  • Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Process Management
  • Strong knowledge of SOP-driven environments and compliance systems
  • Exposure to ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 (Six Sigma advantageous)
  • Experience with audits, CAPA, and risk management systems
  • Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong communication skills (Afrikaans advantageous due to workforce profile)
