About the Role
Safari JOBS Ltd is seeking an exceptional Couple: Head Chef & Senior Wellness Therapist to join their 5-star safari lodge in the Greater Kruger. This rare opportunity combines individual professional strengths within a refined, nature-connected environment, offering a unique blend of luxury hospitality, wellness, food, and nature. The ideal couple will bring passion, skill, and soul to create memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular stock-takes and orders for the kitchen while ensuring all associated paperwork is promptly and accurately completed.
- Ensure that any food-related guest queries, including personalised dietary requirements, are attended to.
- Maintain hygiene standards for compliance.
- Manage employee relations and conduct training on all kitchen operations if required.
- Develop menus and prioritize hygiene, as well as health and safety standards.
- Host guests in the evenings from time to time.
- Conduct various wellness treatments, including yoga experience beneficial.
- Oversee minimal duties when Wellness Manager is on leave (stock takes, etc.).
Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have worked in a 5-star lodge environment.
- Must have own vehicle and both parties to hold valid licences.
- Non-smokers.
Qualifications
- Chef-related qualification.
- CIDESCO/ITEC qualification for Senior Wellness Therapist (if applicable).
