About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical/Electrical Technician – Millwright to join our team in Nelspruit, MPUMALANGA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting faults and implementing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot faults and implement solutions using PLCs, VSDs, motors, and control systems
- Work with pumps, gearboxes, and general mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Read technical drawings and interpret blueprints
- Travel to various sites as required
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues and improve processes
Requirements
- N3 qualification
- Minimum 5 years Millwright experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience with PLCs, VSDs, motors, and control systems
- Knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, and general mechanical systems
- Valid drivers licence
- Ability to work after hours when required
