About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager with Spa experience to join our prestigious luxury lodge in the Eastern Cape. As a guest-focused professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, leading teams, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of both lodge and spa facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the spa.
- Oversee spa bookings, scheduling, and guest treatments.
- Ensure therapists deliver exceptional service and maintain treatment standards.
- Monitor spa stock levels, ordering, and inventory control.
- Drive spa revenue through promotions, upselling, and guest engagement.
- Maintain spa hygiene, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Lodge Manager, Front of House Manager, or similar hospitality role.
- Some experience in managing or overseeing a SPA and SPA therapist.
- Strong guest relations and customer service skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and property management systems.
