About the Role
Our client, a well-established organisation operating within the food processing industry, is seeking to employ an experienced Production Supervisor to join their Production Department based in Addo, Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate will oversee production operations and ensure compliance with HACCP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee offloading and receiving operations
- Supervise bulk production
- Supervise all production staff
- Ensure that HACCP standards and procedures are followed
- Oversee departmental monthly budget expenses
- Control and completion of all relevant documentation
- Ensure disciplinary procedures are adhered to
- Perform shift and overtime work during the production season
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in the food industry
- Reliable
- Good people management skills
- Good working knowledge of disciplinary processes
- Computer literate (MS Office, Pastel)
- Effective communication skills
- Experience in the food processing industry will be advantageous
- SGS Food safety training will be advantageous
