About the Role
Executive Placings is seeking an exceptional Lodge Manager to lead a world-class luxury lodge in Namibia, renowned for its breath-taking environments and high-end hospitality. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an unparalleled guest experience, driving sustainability initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a multi-department team
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience across all touchpoints
- Strengthen relationships with staff, guests, community & industry partners
- Drive sustainability initiatives and reduce carbon footprint
- Oversee operations: equipment, buildings, vehicles & generators
- Manage budgets, forecasting, financial reporting & CAPEX planning
- Ensure health & safety, compliance & HR best practices
- Oversee training, development & performance management
- Maintain lodge standards, food quality & housekeeping excellence
- Host media, VIP guests & agents
Requirements
- Strong leadership background in 5-star lodge or luxury hospitality
- Demonstrated operational, financial & HR management experience
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail, proactive mindset & problem-solving ability
- Ability to cope under pressure in a remote environment
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
