About the Role

Executive Placings is seeking an exceptional Lodge Manager to lead a world-class luxury lodge in Namibia, renowned for its breath-taking environments and high-end hospitality. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an unparalleled guest experience, driving sustainability initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a multi-department team
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience across all touchpoints
  • Strengthen relationships with staff, guests, community & industry partners
  • Drive sustainability initiatives and reduce carbon footprint
  • Oversee operations: equipment, buildings, vehicles & generators
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, financial reporting & CAPEX planning
  • Ensure health & safety, compliance & HR best practices
  • Oversee training, development & performance management
  • Maintain lodge standards, food quality & housekeeping excellence
  • Host media, VIP guests & agents

Requirements

  • Strong leadership background in 5-star lodge or luxury hospitality
  • Demonstrated operational, financial & HR management experience
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail, proactive mindset & problem-solving ability
  • Ability to cope under pressure in a remote environment
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
