We’re seeking a driven, client-focused professional with experience in Commercial Short-Term Insurance sales and underwriting. What You’ll Do: Provide sales support to Portfolio Managers through the promotion of commercial products. Respond quickly and accurately to all new business leads by preparing comparative quotes that address clients’ insurance needs. Negotiate rates and apply sound underwriting principles within company guidelines. Upsell and offer comprehensive insurance solutions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain efficient turnaround times and policy administration. Build and maintain value-adding relationships with brokers and internal teams. Assist with processing new business and loading new policies as needed. Achieve individual and team sales targets consistently. Minimum Requirements: Matric/Grade 12. FETC in Short-Term Insurance (NQF 4, 150 credits). Higher Certificate in Short-Term Insurance (NQF 5) is highly advantageous. RE1 (Representative Exam) – must be successfully completed. Class of Business certification (Personal & Commercial Lines). At least 2 years’ experience in Commercial Insurance sales and underwriting. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Exposure to the TIAL Operating System is an advantage. Excellent command of English and Afrikaans (verbal and written). Who You Are: Target-driven with strong negotiation and communication skills.
